A drunk Long Island teenager who tried to sneak into a New York
Mets game received a nasty surprise when the elderly security guard he
assaulted as they tried to stop him turned out to be a legendary
homicide detective.
Garrett
Morgan, 18, of Garden City, Long Island, reportedly admitted he had
been drinking before he lost his cool after being ejected by security
after trying to attend the team's match against the St. Louis Cardinals
at Citi Field on Tuesday with the wrong ticket.
Mr
Morgan is said to have tried to re-enter the stadium again at the
right-field gate with a fake ID when he ran into one of the venue's
security guards.
