The agent of Manchester United target Paul Pogba has said that the
midfielder is amenable to a move away from Juventus but, unless the
right offer is presented to him, he’ll likely remain at the Turin club.
Pogba has been heavily linked with a world record transfer to Old
Trafford since Jose Mourinho was installed at the helm there but, to
date, tangible progress is yet to be made.
The Portuguese manager is a long time admirer of the 23-year-old and
is believed to have instructed chief executive Ed Woodward to acquire
Pogba regardless of the cost.
It is reported that United would have to part with upward of £120m to prise Pogba away from the Serie A champions, while he could expect to command a wage of £240k per week.
Of course, Pogba arrived in Turin from United on a free transfer in 2012, and helped them to win three consecutive titles.
