Twitter reacts as Neymar fails to impress for Brazil in Olympics opener
It might seem strange to some, but despite the Olympic opening ceremony not even taking place yet in Rio de Janeiro, the Olympic Games have already begun.
The opening ceremony is set to be held this evening as they officially welcome the Olympics to South America, but that's coming after game-week one of the football has already taken place.
The women kicked off their tournament on Wednesday, and the men started their group matches yesterday, with the host nations Brazil taking on South Africa.
Given the amount of talent at their disposal, with the likes of Neymar and Felipe Anderson, Brazil are expected to take home the gold in the football, but things didn't get off to the best of starts for the hosts.
Despite South Africa going down to 10-men near the hour mark, Neymar and co. couldn't find a way through their resilient defence, and had to settle for a point in a 0-0 draw.
