Earlier this week, reports emerged that Liverpool are close to completing the signing of the Augsburg centre back Ragnar Klavan.
Now the ever reliable Liverpool Echo are reporting that the Bundesliga defender has already arrived in Liverpool for his medical.
The 30 year old was spotted near Melwood earlier and here are some of the images of him arriving at the Spire Liverpool hospital earlier today.
Telegraph claimed earlier that Liverpool have agreed a fee of 3.5 million pounds with the German club.
Liverpool are in need of defensive reinforcements after injuries to Sakho and Gomez. Furthermore, Skrtel and Toure have left the club as well, leaving the Reds with just two fit centre backs in Lovren and Matip.
The Reds are hoping to sign another centre back apart from the Estonian from Augsburg as a replacement for Skrtel.
The Estonian international displayed his excellent leadership qualities and aerial threat against Liverpool last season when the two clubs met in the Europa League.
Furthermore, his experience could prove to be priceless in the dressing room as well. Ragnar joined Augsburg in 2012 and has played well over 100 games for them. He has previously played for clubs AZ Alkmaar and has over 100 international caps to his name as well.
